MOCON’s RACK-6™ System increases throughput for testing the Oxygen transmission rate through RIGID packages when used in conjunction with OX-TRAN® 2/61. Designed to allow for rapid testing of rigid packages containing Oxygen barrier and scavenger material.

PTC – Package Temperature Chamber
The Package Temperature Chamber (PTC) is used to provide an accurate, stable temperature when testing PACKAGES. It provides adequate room for testing multiple samples, allowing increased output, and ensuring that all samples are tested under the exact same conditions.

PEC – Package Environmental Chamber
The Package Environmental Chamber (PEC) is used in PACKAGE testing to create an environment which aids in controlling humidity levels by precisely holding the temperature throughout the Chamber. This helps eliminate scattered transmission rate data caused by fluctuations in room temperature.
Features
The test temperature ranges and controlled relative humidity are restricted only by the capabilities of the selected instrument.
Attached directly to the top of the MOCON instrument maximizing counter space.
